Aerospace industry, aviation, high speed trains, nuclear industry, pharmaceutical industry, food industry, tiny microelectronic devices - to name but a few of the most exciting applications - rely on orbital weld- ing, but the equipment to ensure our daily supply of electric current, oil and gas also depends on orbital welding techniques.
